A thought...

Next time the student council president starts off the Our Father by asking, "Whose Father?" I should shout something from the following list of possible responses:
- "MY Father!"
- "HIS Father!"
- "YO' MOMMA!" (Complete with attempt at ghetto voice, even though I'm about as black as fresh-laid snow)
- "Who's your daddy?"
- "NO IDEA!"

Do they actually say, "Whose Father?" after the sign of the cross?

"In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...

WHOSE FATHER?"

That sounds ridiculous, and not in a good way.

Something similar. It's usually, "Let's begin this as we do all things here," *sign of the cross*, Intentions (briefly) (ex: for all those mentioned on morning prayer), "we pray as a school family--whose father?!"

Sometimes we skip intentions and it does go straight to Whose Father. It's very, very ridiculous.
