Eagerly anticipating the new fiscal year

So long, 2009. It's hard to believe that we've already had an entire decade of the new millennium. It feels only yesterday when I was very little and sleeping through the coming of the year 2000...

Here I sit in the dying throes of the two thousand and ninth year since the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, blogging away at my cluttered desk while my family otherwise occupies themselves. It's pleasant to be on break, with no pressing deadlines save Mum telling us that we have to get our rooms clean before so-and-so comes over. Out of the corner of my eye, I see my textbooks. If they weren't school property, I'd have burned them long ago.

Any fellow student readers, I suggest we burn our textbooks in effigy at the end of this school year... sort of like Guy Fawkes day, but different!
