This is a follow-up to my below post about a textbook which seemed highly suspicious to me, so I checked its Imprimatur.
The Imprimatur inside the textbook named Catholic Social Teaching was granted by a "Most Reverend Anthony M. Pilla, D.D., M.A., Bishop of Cleveland." Upon researching this Bishop Pilla, I discovered him to be highly progressive and sounding much like a particular bishop of the Diocese of Rochester. Many incidents were the very same.
Here is the article I found on Bishop Pilla. Liturgical dance, labyrinth walking, occult and "spiritual" practices, feminism in the form of supporting heterodox practices (in his case, altar girls instead of wymyn-prysts)... Ring a bell, much? Bishop Pilla has already retired, though. Bishop Clark, on the other hand...
I can't wait until 2012.
